CalBar Connect’s Role and Compensation

The State Bar of California receives sponsorship fees from their sponsored insurance products to offset the costs of program oversight and to support approved programs advancing the legal profession, including legal aid organizations, scholarships and fellowships for law students and new attorneys, and access-to-justice initiatives. CalBar Connect administers the State Bar of California-sponsored insurance programs pursuant to Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 6141.3.

CalBar Connect also receives sponsorship fees from California Lawyers Association and CalBar Connect-sponsored insurance products to offset the costs of program oversight and support access-to-justice initiatives pursuant to Cal.
